Diamond DJ is a tool for playing walkup music and game-day audio at youth sports events. By using the app, you agree to play music you have the right to play, treat other people respectfully, and not abuse the service.
If you pay for a subscription, the App Store or Google Play handles the transaction — refunds and billing run through them, not us.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Diamond DJ ("we," "us," "the operator") regarding your use of the Diamond DJ mobile application and the website at diamonddj.app (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create a Diamond DJ account. The Service is designed for adults — typically parents, siblings, or coaches — running game-day audio at youth sports events.
Children under 13 may have their information entered into the Service by an adult account holder (a parent, guardian, or someone authorized by them). The adult account holder is solely responsible for that information and for having the right to enter it.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at dev@diamonddj.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your contact email up to date so we can reach you about important account matters.
Diamond DJ offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers ("Pro"). Subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and billing is handled entirely by those platforms.
Diamond DJ helps you play audio. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to play any music or audio you use through the Service.
Diamond DJ uses third-party AI services to generate features such as voice intros and to extract roster information from screenshots. AI-generated output can occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before using it, and Diamond DJ is not liable for errors in AI-generated content.
Voice intros are generated by ElevenLabs from a player name and a voice setting you choose. You should only generate voice intros for players whose names you have the right to use in this way.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You keep ownership of the team data, player profiles, recordings, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Diamond DJ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service for you and the people you authorize (such as assistant coaches or parents you invite).
This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for backup copies that purge on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
Diamond DJ, the Diamond DJ logo, the design system, the app's code, and built-in soundboard sounds are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them only as part of using the Service. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them outside the Service.
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We'll do our best to give notice of significant changes.
The Service depends on third-party providers (Apple, Google, Supabase, Spotify, and others). Outages or changes at those providers may affect the Service in ways we cannot control.
You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time, from the app's Settings screen or by emailing dev@diamonddj.app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide service to you would expose us or other users to harm.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.
We don't warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, that audio playback will be uninterrupted, that Bluetooth connections will always work, or that the Service will be free of bugs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Diamond DJ and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Diamond DJ and its operator from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third party's rights, including music licensing or publicity rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved by emailing us first will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at dev@diamonddj.app and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the issue informally.
If you use Diamond DJ on an Apple device, you acknowledge that:
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where required, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
